Use this informational PowerPoint presentation, “Financial Planning 101,” to help teach your students the fundamentals of financial planning, including what it means in their own lives.CFP Board makes it easy:

OPTION #1:Download a PowerPoint presentation. The presentation will provide students with a "big picture view" of what financial planning is and why it is important.

OPTION #2: You can arrange a free on-campus presentation from a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner in your area. Many CFP® practitioners with extensive experience, knowledge and a high level of commitment to ethics and competency have contacted CFP Board with interest in speaking to students in their areas.

Your students will learn from a seasoned professional about:

• The importance of financial planning.
• Career opportunities in the industry.
  
• What it means to be a CFP® certificant.

To learn more about arranging a presentation, contact CFP Board at mail@CFPBoard.org with information about your institution and students, the type of presentation you are interested in, and possible presentation dates and times. CFP Board will provide you with contact information for interested volunteers or share information to assist you in recruiting a volunteer in your area.
